How to Repurpose Your Content Like a Pro

Repurposing simply means taking one main piece of content and transforming it into multiple pieces of content that work for different platforms.  Sometimes, this main piece of content is called the HERO piece. Whatever you call it,
think of it as the hub of a wheel and the rest of your content like the spokes of the same wheel. The spokes—your social media posts, your email, your blog, etc.—flow from the hub.

Repurpose Your Content Like a Pro: Work Smarter, Not Harder

For example, let's say you create a long-form blog once a week. That's your centerpiece. Now, you can repackage the blog content in a way that makes sense for other platforms.

For instance, you can pull short thoughts from your blog and turn them into tweets. You can create social media graphics with the same quotes for a visual representation of your content. If you've embedded a video in your blog, you can create short clips from the video ("teaser clips") to draw people back to the blog to watch the whole thing.

The days of posting a link to your blog article JUST ONCE and calling that marketing are long gone.But, the good news is that you can still do SO MUCH with that one blog post.
