Maybe. But probably not.

You wouldn't walk into that store because there’s nothing in the window to pique your curiosity. You don't get a sneak peek into the store's products or promotions.
Your social media strategy is just like that huge storefront window on 5th Avenue. If it’s empty, people will stroll (scroll!) on by.
But if it’s a vibrant, well-crafted display, the window shoppers will "come in" because you've captured their attention and they want to know more.
Does It Equal Sales?
Does that mean that everyone who comes in becomes a paying customer?
No. But the more people that walk into your doors, the more potential you have for a sale, right?
By building a well-crafted window display, even if someone doesn't buy from you the first, second, or third time, you'll be top of mind when they do decide they're ready to make a purchase.
Besides, arranging a compelling window display that tells a visual story of what you have to offer seems like FUN to me, not drudgery. So, let your social media be fun and a natural extension of who you are.
